Hydrangeas in Blue & White

Original sculptural mixed-media artwork on canvas.
An exuberant arrangement of pink and blue hydrangeas spilling from a blue-and-white vessel. Clusters of individually formed blossoms rise from a heavily textured painted surface, finished with tiny pearls and light-catching details that shimmer as the viewing angle changes. This one is deliberately tactile, imperfect and abundant — somewhere between painting and sculpture.
