Hydrangea Study

Original textured painting on canvas.
Oversized hydrangeas in powder blue, blush pink and lavender emerge against a softly layered aqua and lilac ground. Thick, expressive marks and loosely drawn foliage give the florals movement and depth while retaining the spontaneity of a painted study.
